POSITION SUMMARY:
The EMR Workflow Optimization Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of the EPIC electronic medical records system. This role requires advanced knowledge of EPIC modules, including configuration, workflow optimization, and data management. The EMR Workflow Optimization Analyst collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to ensure the EMR system meets organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
Education/Experience:
1. High school diploma or equivalent education required
2. Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
3. Minimum of five (5) years of experience with EPIC system configuration and support with previous experience in a healthcare setting required
4. Experience in EMR system configuration, support, and optimization required
5. Certification in Epic preferred
6. Proficiency in EPIC system management, SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools required
