Key Responsibilities
- Provides excellent service by engaging with members/guests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Assists members at the counter and over the phone with inquiries and booking tee times.
- Operates point of sale system and receives and processes payments.
- Advises members/guests about attire and playing privileges of the various membership classifications.
- Assists Head Golf Professional and First Assistant Professional with successfully running Club tournaments; Recruits tournament participants.
- Raises flags each morning.
- Maintains records for lost/found clubs.
- Maintains the water and coffee service area.
- Serves as backup to First Assistant Professional. Assists Retail when needed.
- 6 months - 1 year related experience. Previous experience at a private membership club preferred.
- Ability to perform general administrative duties including filing, taking messages, and data entry.
- Ability to use Word, Excel, email, USGA GHIN software, and tee sheet/GPS software.
- Must have an unexpired Driver's License.
- Registered member of PGA/LPGA (or actively working towards membership).
- Must be able to drive a golf cart and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
