Apply now to start your journey with us and contribute to a smoother, more efficient distribution process that our customers can rely on!Shift Hours: 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pmRequirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure proper packing and labeling of itemsSafely and promptly load items onto material handling equipmentRead and interpret stage plans, pick lists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) or work instructions (WI)Operate material handling equipment, including RF devices, label machines, weight scales, and powered equipment such as forklifts, pickers, or pallet jacksUse RF devices to pick and transfer materials to staging areasConduct quality inspections to ensure correct part number and quantity, following procedures for accurate transfers, transactions, and labelingEnsure accuracy of Pallet Manifest documentationInspect material handling equipment, structures, or materials to identify any problems or defectsMark and/or tag containers with identifying informationAssist in researching and identifying the root cause of shipping load discrepanciesResponsible for returning any overages brought to shippingParticipate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill developmentComply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious cultureFollow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environmentUndertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by managementQUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 2 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience operating Material Handling Equipment - Forklift, Hand Truck, Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, etcDemonstrates strong problem-solving abilitiesCapable of following instructions and responding to management directionDetail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environmentHas the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsPossesses effective verbal communication skills
