Production Associate

The Production Associate is responsible for the production of rotating electrical products, including alternators and starters. This involves disassembly, assembly, testing, and packaging of these components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble high-quality rotating electrical products using remanufactured parts and components
• Maintain production pace and targets while adhering to safety protocols
• Perform daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring accurate records and maintenance of equipment
• Participate in a collaborative work environment, utilizing effective communication and cross-training to enhance team productivity
• Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to maintain a secure work environment
• Follow 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow and efficiency

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification; 1 year's experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and follows instructions
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and has excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment and ability to read and interpret various documents

Work Environment:

This role involves working in a warehouse and manufacturing setting, utilizing standard equipment such as machinery, computers, cameras, and material handling equipment.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing and walking on the shop floor, lifting up to 40 lbs. normal, up to 70 lbs. less than 10% of time
• Ability to move about the warehouse and shop floor to access product and machinery
• Frequent reading of documents and operation of computer and other tools/databases/equipment
• Frequent communication with colleagues, co-workers, and customers
