WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
We have assignments available to help our group health insurance carrier clients in Stop Loss Underwriter positions.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with clinical underwriting professionals to determine appropriate risk premiums, considering ongoing and known claimants.
- Display a solid grasp of the stop loss insurance market and risk mitigation techniques, while remaining up to date on evolving industry risks.
- Assess and secure profitable stop loss accounts in alignment with prescribed standards and within the scope of designated underwriting authority.
- Thoroughly record underwriting rationale and authority decisions using the carrier’s documentation and filing systems.
- Efficiently handle a large volume of cases during peak periods by applying excellent time management and maintaining strong personal accountability.
TO BECOME A VINTAGE WORK-AT-HOME EXPERT, WE REQUIRE
- 25 years of full-time work experience
- 10 most recent years of group health underwriting experience with an emphasis on Stop Loss
