POSITION TITLE: High School Summer Graduation Coach: Internal Wahluke School District Employees Only
SUMMER SCHEDULE: June 15, 2026 - July 17, 2026
REPORT TO: High School Principals
Position Summary: High School Graduation Coach – Certificated Position - Coordinate with high school staff to identify, organize, schedule and provide assistance to high school students needing credit recovery via Edgenuity web-based program to remain on track to meet graduation requirements. Monitor student progress and encourage successful course completion, complete required reporting. Work to be performed by a combination of remote and on campus presence. On campus schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 3:00 to 5:00PM to meet with each student. Compensation to be an additional responsibility stipend of $2500 for the full session.
Expectations and Qualifications:
- Begin June 15th and finish July 17th, Remote work to monitor progress, schedule student meetings; maintain program access and availability for students;
- Valid Washington teacher certificate
- Secondary High School teacher preferred
- Work on site Tuesday & Wednesday each week, 3:00 to 5:00PM
- Coordinate with school counselor to provide grading and course completion information
- Proficient using Edgenuity web-based program including reporting required.
- Students are expected to meet in person 1 of the days to speak with the staff member. This is to ensure that students are making progress. If need be students can work in person on those two days.
- Students expected to make weekly progress on their classes and will check in with teacher.
