As our IT Deskside Support Analyst, you'll be the face of IT for Wahl employees, turning confusion into clarity and technical challenges into smooth, successful outcomes.
What You'll Do
You'll be the first person our team members turn to when technology isn't behaving. Your work will keep projects moving, meetings happening, and production running. Your day-to-day will include:
- Troubleshoot common support tasks (computer performance, login and profiles, printing, audio/video, VPN, Wi Fi, browsers) using approved tools and knowledge articles.
- Document resolutions, update knowledge base articles, and maintain accurate ticket notes to support repeatable outcomes.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and request workflows; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Collaborates within IT and with the overall business to formulate relationships and have a deep understanding of major job functions across the company.
- Exposure to collaboration and identity services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
- Supports HR functions for onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Demonstrate adaptability to evolving environments and emerging technologies.
- Assigned other project related work by supervisor.
- Perform Active Directory and/or Entra ID (Azure AD) tasks as delegated (account unlocks, password resets, group membership, managing device objects) while following best practices.
- Install, configure, and support Windows and macOS devices (laptops/desktops), including imaging/onboarding setup, basic configuration, and application installation.
- Deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots IT assets including printers, scanning devices, Azure Virtual Desktops, and other IT owned devices.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Wi Fi) and common troubleshooting steps.
- Supports local and global infrastructure teams on critical outages, testing, and IT project rollouts.
- Assists in disaster recovery and tape backups.
- Associate's degree in business, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years previous working experience in a corporate IT environment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Exhibits a proactive attitude toward acquiring new skills and knowledge.
- Open to feedback and embraces training opportunities.
- Must be organized, detail oriented with the integrity to handle confidential information.
- Experience with Microsoft Administration, Active Directory, and Entra/Azure.
- Deep knowledge of Windows PCs and MacOS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic network infrastructure knowledge
- Experience with device management systems (Intune, JAMF) is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move standard IT equipment (e.g., laptops, monitors) as needed.
