What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Custodian (.5 FTE) - Wahconah Regional High School position at Wahconah Regional High School?
CUSTODIAL POSTIONS AVAILABLE:
Custodians shall report, and provide support to the building principal, their building's head custodian and perform a variety of tasks including cleaning, maintenance and general care of the building and grounds. Primary responsibility is to ensure students and staff have a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play, work and develop.
DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in custodial and plant operations
- Ability and willingness to perform general custodial duties
- Ability to work with machinery and technology consistent with building use
- Proven ability to work courteously with other staff and public
- Must be reliable, able to work as part of a team
- Massachusetts drivers license required
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Satisfactory CORI/SORI/Background Check
- Other duties may be assigned by the building principal or Director of Finance and Operations
- Two hour asbestos awareness training required within 30 days of employment
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
SALARY: As per contract; $21.59-$22.25 per hour with $1.35 shift differential after 3PM
This is a first shift position in the summer
