$300 SIGN ON BONUS

Wagtime in Westborough, MA is looking for 1 full-time pack leader to join our team (25-40 hrs week). We are located at 2 Hopkinton Rd in Westborough. The right candidate will first and foremost love working with, being around and caring for all kinds of dogs. They will be a reliable person with a positive attitude who is able to communicate effectively with co workers and the general public. Our ideal candidate is a team player, self-driven, punctual, and hard-working with the ability to move into a supervisory role.. Experience handling dogs, working at another dog daycare, kennel, veterinary practice or a similar environment required. We pay more because we want the best ! Up to $300 sign on bonus after 60 days.

You will supervise dog play groups, continuously clean the facility, feed and administer meds and interact with customers at drop-offs and pick-ups. You will get your hands dirty, but you'll have fun playing with the dogs. We are a friendly place to work and are looking to add to a great existing team.

Daily responsibilities for all employees include:

· Standing on your feet the majority of your shifts each day and working in all weather conditions (snow, heat, rain)

· Being proactive & hard working.

· General Cleaning up after the dogs (including scooping poop in yard)

· Continuously supervising different dog play groups. Understanding dog behavior and body language

· Providing excellent customer service

· Being a team player and able to take directions

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kennel, vet business or caring for dogs in some capacity a plus. We will train the right person.
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to patiently and compassionately care for pets.

• Flexible schedule.
• Available to work some weekends (1 day, twice a month).
• Maintain favorable and positive work relations with others.

Hours are 6:30-11:15 am to 2- 6:30 pm, Monday through Sunday (2 1/2 hr break every day 11:30-2:00).

Wagtime staff must be able to work a weekend shift twice a month & work an occasional 1/2 shift on Holiday's (paid 1 1/2 times). Our business is never closed to the dogs in our community...

This is a specialized job for a specific group of active people who could imagine nothing more fun to do all day than care for sweet dogs. We see our staff as a team & as our 2nd family. Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour (depending on experience and with ability for upside)
