Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor dogs during play sessions to ensure safe and positive interactions.
- Assist with dog training exercises to promote good behavior and socialization.
- Handle dogs safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injuries or stress.
- Provide basic pet grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming.
- Support veterinary technicians or assistants with animal care tasks when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels, play zones, and grooming stations.
- Offer excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and behaviors.
Requirements
- Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with animal restraint methods and general animal care practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning or moving supplies.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members.
- Passion for animals with a proactive attitude toward safety and pet well-being.
