What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate I - 3 Part Checker - B Shift - Days (0630 - 1900) position at Wagner Logistics?
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Must be able to read and write legibly.
- Be able to identify and match number sequences
- Follow directions given by the Shipping Manager or Supervisor
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or repacking projects as needed
- Inspect completed loads for accuracy
- Sign, date, and turn in load documents to the shipping office when completed
- Identify damaged, lost, or missing products and notify warehouse leadership immediately.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Professionally interact with warehouse management, personnel, customers, vendors, and other employees/guests.
- Including other duties as assigned
What You Need:
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
- Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English
- Basic math, counting, and computer abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate initiative, self-starter, reliability, follow-through, and teamwork skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively
- Capability to navigate through narrow, confined spaces
- Work near or on top of sloping, uneven, and/or slippery surfaces
- Exposure to varying temperatures
- Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection
- Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
- Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
