What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Wagner Energy Services?
Wagner Energy Services is looking for a field technician with a Class B CDL license to drive equipment and work in the field on oil and gas sites. They will also spend time at the shop performing maintenance and keeping equipment job ready.

**Schedule is 2 weeks on, 1 week off. Housing is provided for the 2 weeks on.**
Responsibilities
- Drive equipment(hydrovac truck or torque and test trailer) to remote Oil & Gas locations in the Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia area.
- Perform on site duties to complete jobs. Operate hydrovac, use telehandler/man basket, use hydraulic wrenches, hammer wrenches/hand tools, manual labor, helping other services when needed.
- Conduct thorough pre/post trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of jobs
- Perform Job Safety Analysis and safety observations as required for jobs.
- Adhere to all site-specific and industry-standard safety protocols, including PPE compliance and hazard recognition.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors, field personnel and clients on-site.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment on location and in the shop when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Class A or B CDL with air brakes, hazmat and tanker endorsement, with a clean driving record.
- Safeland/PEC and H2S certifications
- Strong understanding of hydro excavation procedures and Oil & Gas safety practices (e.g. H2S awareness, confined spaces)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check and DOT physical.
- Willingness to work in physically demanding and variable outdoor conditions.
