Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight of assigned projects, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and profitability goals are achieved.
- Review and approve estimates, proposals, budgets, schedules, and contract documents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff.
- Monitor and manage subcontractor and vendor performance.
- Oversee project risk management, cost controls, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, contract requirements, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership and estimating teams on business development and pursuit of new opportunities.
- Represent Wagner Construction at client meetings, community events, and industry functions.

- Ensure timely project reporting, documentation, and financial closeout.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive project management experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, or site development.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale or high-profile projects ($25M ).
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to mentor and guide teams.
- Track record of building long-term client relationships and repeat business.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and project management/estimating software (e.g., HCSS Heavy Bid).
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-production environment.
- Flexibility to work in diverse locations as project needs change.
- Willingness to travel as required.
