PA Program Research Coordinator
Full Time (32 hours/week at PA Program & 8 hours/week for Clinical Practice/Research)
Purpose
Coordinate the Research Components of the Didactic, Clinical, and Advanced Clinical
Phase of the PA Program.
Duties/Responsibilities
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of academic and/or clinical experience
Education: Master’s degree (MS, MPA, MPH)
Doctorate Preferred (PhD, DHSC, DMS, EdD)
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: 1 day a week dedicated to Clinical Practice or Research.
Available weekends for campus events (e.g.: Campus Visit Days)
Available evenings for program events (e.g.: Research Forums)
PA Program Research Coordinator

Purpose
Coordinate the Research Components of the Didactic, Clinical, and Advanced Clinical
Phase of the PA Program.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordination of student development of thesis projects and research work.
- Prepares syllabi and learning objective for all research related courses.
- Provides analysis of research related courses for appropriateness of structure, sequence, and content.
- Schedules classes, seminar sessions, research meetings, poster presentations, and thesis defense, focusing on a sequenced, building block approach.
- Prepares and/or reviews assessment tools, collaborating with faculty in the construction, analysis, and outcomes of assessment tools.
- Responsible for workload equivalent of three courses per semester.
- Serves as a student advisor, monitoring student progress, meeting with students, and assuring the implementation of appropriate interventions, when required.
- Analyzes student and curriculum outcomes for review at committee meetings and by the Executive Program Director.
- Provides analysis of student evaluations of courses, learning experiences, and teaching instructors for review at committee meetings and by the Executive Director.
- Participates in clinical site visits, as assigned.
- Actively participates in the remediation process of students, when required.
- Serves as an advisor for research thesis groups.
- Attends and participates in PA committee meetings, program activities, and campus events.
- Serves as a Chair of a Committee, developing agenda, preparing minutes, and providing outcome reports.
- Contributes to ongoing self-study process and formal reports to ARC-PA.
- Serves as a faculty leader for experiential service learning events (e.g.: Medical Education/Mission Trips)
- Attends professional conferences representing the PA Program and the College.
