What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casino Cashier Server position at WAGIN CAJUN CASINO OF DUSON?
We are looking for enthusiastic cashiers to provide an excellent guest experience. Good cashier and servers will be able to create classic and innovative experience exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips. We are a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week video poker casino, so you must be available to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and give them 110% customer service
- Be attentive to each customers needs, be available to cash out their payout tickets and make change.
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking–gaming age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies and coffee area
- Ensure casino area is clean and safe at all times
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all LA State Video Gaming & LA Alcohol regulations
- A strong ability to support team work with other co-workers
- Must be dependable, courteous, flexible to work any shift
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a casino attendant
- Must be 21 years old & pass a LA State Police Background check
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Math skills and money counting skills mandatory
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep area organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate server card, machine training tech 1, if not training will be provided.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekend availability

- Cashier Casino: 1 year (Preferred)
- Service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- DRIVERS LICENSE OR ID CARD (Preferred)
- ATC BAR CARD AND/OR TECH CARD (Preferred)
