Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Take customer orders accurately using Toast POS system ensuring smooth transactions.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions and register balancing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Toast POS system.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
- Proven ability in sales, upselling beverages or food items to enhance guest experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
