Role Description The Restaurant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Baldwin County, AL. This role oversees daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, supervising service quality, and ensuring consistent delivery of Waffle House standards. The manager monitors food safety and cleanliness, supports inventory management and ordering, and assists with cash handling and basic financial reporting. This role includes coaching and developing Associates, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment. The Restaurant Operations Manager collaborates with leadership to achieve operational goals, drive sales, and support long-term growth within the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Operational leadership skills, including team supervision, shift management, and delegation.
- Customer service and conflict resolution skills to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Knowledge of restaurant procedures, food safety, and health and sanitation standards.
- Basic financial and administrative skills, such as cash handling, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Associates and leadership.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in business or hospitality is a plus.
