Role Description The Restaurant Manager role at Waffle House, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position located in Florence, KY. The Restaurant Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, including supervising Associates, managing shift schedules, and ensuring that food quality and service standards are consistently met. This role is responsible for supporting a positive guest experience, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Restaurant Manager also assists with hiring, training, and coaching team members, monitoring inventory, managing cash handling procedures, and meeting sales and profitability goals. In addition, the role requires close adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and effective communication with both Customers and Associates.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Experience with Hiring and team development, including interviewing, onboarding, and coaching Associates.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with Customers, team members, and leadership.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including food safety, quality standards, and basic restaurant financials.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
