Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in St Louis, MO. This role is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations across one or more locations, ensuring consistent execution of Waffle House service, quality, and cleanliness standards. The Operations Manager leads and develops restaurant teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring sales and labor, managing inventory and food costs, supporting safety and compliance, and resolving operational issues in real time. The Operations Manager also drives guest satisfaction, responds to customer feedback, supports local marketing initiatives, and partners with leadership to achieve financial and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Operations and leadership skills, including multi-unit or high-volume restaurant management, staff supervision, and team development.
- Business and financial skills, such as budgeting, labor management, inventory control, and basic data analysis for operational decision-making.
- Customer service and communication skills, including conflict resolution, coaching, and clear verbal and written communication with diverse teams and guests.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, including time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
