Position Description:
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Administration team and support our offices. This position will be based out of Taylor and will require travel to the other offices as needed to support office operations and perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs for buildings, grounds, equipment, and fleet vehicles. The technician responds to service requests, coordinates with vendors, maintains supplies and records, and assists with office improvement and relocation activities. The candidate must have a high school diploma and four or more years of related experience. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well with others, use sound judgment, communicate professionally, and complete assignments with appropriate independence.

- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on the building and grounds.
- Perform other general office maintenance duties as necessary.
- Communicate and negotiate with vendors concerning building and ground maintenance issues.
- Order and restock supplies for cleaning, toiletry, coffee, and other paper product.
- Maintain equipment to factory specifications.
- Assist with redevelopment of offices, such as minor painting, drywall, installation of artwork and white boards, and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Assist with office relocation tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Assist employees with fleet maintenance.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma
- 4 years of related experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, and tools (manual and power)
- Knowledge of lawn and yard equipment
- Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license
