Dental Assistant – Advanced Imaging & Education Coordinator

Ready for Something Beyond Chairside Assisting?
Are you an experienced dental assistant who enjoys dentistry but is ready for a new direction?
Dental Technology Center of Hawaiʻi is looking for a dental assistant interested in digital dentistry, advanced imaging, technology, and education.
This is not a traditional chairside assisting position. You'll use your dental experience while developing new skills and helping grow our scanning center and educational programs.
What You'll Do
- Perform iTero intraoral scans and assist with CBCT imaging
- Guide patients through scanning appointments
- Communicate with referring dentists and dental offices
- Coordinate appointments and scan records
- Help build relationships with dental offices
- Assist with dental continuing education courses and events
- Help develop our future dental assisting education program
- Help improve and grow the scanning center
Who We're Looking For
- Previous dental assisting experience
- Strong patient and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Organized, dependable, and motivated
- Interested in technology and digital dentistry
- Comfortable learning new systems and taking on new responsibilities
Experience with iTero, CBCT, orthodontics, implants, or digital dentistry is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
