Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Crew Chief to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mathematics and surveying principles, with expertise in land surveying techniques and technologies. This role involves conducting surveys, preparing reports, and collaborating with Surveyors to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using various tools and technologies, including GPS, and CAD software.
- Collect data accurately for ALTA surveys, construction projects, and other land development initiatives.
- Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries, topography, and other essential features.
- Collaborate with the surveyor to integrate surveying data into project designs.
- Apply mathematical concepts such as trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and drafting in survey calculations.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in all surveying activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as Topcon GPS systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Land Surveying principles and practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
