Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dependable, hands-on Route Supervisor to oversee daily delivery operations. This role is responsible for managing a team of route drivers, ensuring deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on schedule, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of route drivers across assigned territories
Ensure routes are completed on time and in accordance with customer expectations
Conduct route audits and ride-a-longs to ensure service quality and compliance
Train and mentor new drivers on company standards and procedures
Handle customer service concerns quickly and professionally
Coordinate with plant operations to ensure accurate and timely product loading
Maintain compliance with DOT and company safety standards
Fill in and run delivery routes when necessary
Requirements:
2 years of experience in route operations, delivery, or logistics (linen or laundry industry experience preferred)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL a plus but not required
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Comfortable with route planning software and mobile technology
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active role
