Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need, including seniors, patients, and residents in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes.

- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Monitor and manage behaviors associated with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote a positive and comfortable environment.

Experience:

- Previous experience in senior care, patient care, or assisted living is preferred.

- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and behavior management strategies is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with nursing home, home care, or hospice care settings is a plus.

- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality and privacy.

Skills:

- Compassionate and empathetic nature towards individuals requiring assistance.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals.

- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, appointments, and medication administration.

- Ability to adapt to different environments and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
