Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Elementary Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) Teacher located in Waconia, MN. The EBD Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, teaching elementary education, maintaining open communication with students and colleagues, and supporting the education needs of students with EBD. This role will support our level 2/3 center-based EBD classroom.
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral needs
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, de-escalation strategies, and crisis intervention
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
