Primary Purpose:
Deliver rapid and effective technology field services through maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computers, peripherals, and network devices to all campuses and administrative departments within the district. Responsible for phone support, POS, Primero Edge, AirTame, RevTrak and technology problems evaluation, and distribution of technology-related work orders.

Department assigned computer, phone, peripheral devices, network management tools, computer repair tools, testing equipment, light duty vehicles, and personal vehicle.

Prolonged use of computer and telephone; Maintain emotional control under stress, hectic pace, and work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions; occasional strenuous walking, standing, bending, and climbing; moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; and operation of a motor vehicle. Working in office environment and with diverse community groups. Frequent work in industrial and kitchen environment. Occasional work in utility closets, cable chases, and above suspended ceilings.

Two years of college or technical school in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking.
Valid Texas driver’s license
Ability to pass background check
Bilingual Preferred

Knowledge of a wide variety of software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Email applications, POS systems,

Knowledge of basic SQL scripting

Experience:

- Provide customer service in person assistance to end-users in resolving computer hardware and software problems.
- Perform repairs and reimaging to desktop and laptop computers and related equipment.
- Process and complete technology related work orders.
- Evaluate and recommend technology related repairs and purchase of parts and equipment.
- Setup and/or upgrade district hardware and software.
- Asset inventory of hardware
- Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records and other documents required.
- Assist in conducting technology training for campus personnel.
- Recommend policies toward the improvement of delivery of services.
- Stay knowledgeable of advances in technology. Attain and maintain technical certifications.
- Liaison with WISD help desk and remote software installation systems.
- Manage help desk work orders
- Inform staff during meetings on the use of the remote software installation system and other technology training.
- Coordinate with network division prior to any software deployments.
- Work harmoniously with co-workers, subordinates and supervisors in a team environment.
- Create tutorials for end-user technology procedures.
- Keep the CNS Director informed and up-to-date on business services and processes.
- Troubleshoot Primero Edge software and server issues
- Installing AirTame throughout CNS department
- Maintain digital menu screens
- Assist schools with creating barcode badges for counting and claiming procedures.
- Managing RevTrak credit card reader hardware, software, and training
- Installing and repairing Fusion Temperature Control Systems
- Perform other duties as assigned.
