Accounts Receivable Analyst

Job Description/Function
- Review Accounts Receivable aging and follow up on past due accounts
- Handle daily bank receipts posting and application
- Processing credit card payments
- Review and resolve chargebacks/payment discrepancies in a timely manner
- Provide timely review and identification of disputes, obtain supporting documentation in coordination with other departments where required
- Ensure invalid/unauthorized deductions are re-paid
- Assist with month end closing process
- Reconcile and close the A/R ledger each month
Requirements and key skills / competencies:
- Integrity and dependability
- Experience as a collections analyst, accounts receivable specialist or accountant (minimum 3-5 years)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, “IF” formulas, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Customer service oriented with great negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Proven ability to engage in process improvement initiatives
- Fluency in French a plus
- RLM experience a plus
- Retail/consumer goods or wholesale experience preferred
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Experience working with Macys/Nordstrom/Amazon/Target/HBC and others preferred
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
