## Overview
We are seeking a Certified Welding Inspector and Quality Control Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing or maintaining Quality Control plans for multiple construction projects.
## Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of welded structural steel and piping assemblies
- Generate various quality control reports for turnover packages on specific projects
- Perform verification checks for received materials used for structural steel and piping assemblies
- Develop Welding Procedure Specifications for ASME Section IX or AWSD1.1
- Administer welder qualification tests and ensure welder continuity logs are updated
_ perform quality control activities for repairs/ alterations performed to pressure vessels and boilers
Coordinate with Authorized Welding Inspector for repairs made to pressure vessels and boilers
## Requirements
- Must be a Certified Welding Inspector
- Welding experience using processes of GTAW, SMAW, FCAW and GMAW
- Proficient with applications involving mapping and all documentation
- Practical and extensive field experience with process piping and boiler repairs
