The Finance Intern will assist in the administration of the financial/business functions within Barrel One Collective (B1C) by performing tasks with work priorities and general instructions provided by the Finance team.

REPORTS TO: AVP, Finance
The Finance Intern will assist in the administration of the financial/business functions within Barrel One Collective (B1C) by performing tasks with work priorities and general instructions provided by the Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Customer activities, specifically related to billing and customer collections
- Vendor activities, specifically related to purchasing and cash disbursements
- Researching and answering customer/vendor inquiries
- Assisting the Finance department with proper general ledger coding, document processing, and other accounting-related activities
- Conducting day-to-day financial transactions such as invoicing, payments, banking, and other transactions
- Managing and maintaining accurate and timely procedures related to the input of transactions into the company's accounting system
- Other administrative duties supporting operations as they relate to the Finance department
- Current student in an accredited college/university working towards a degree preferably in accounting, finance, or similar field
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and the following Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer
- Ability to create oral presentations and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted during work/business
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to meet a variety of deadlines and prioritize workload
