We're a small, locally owned insurance agency looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients — answering questions, processing policy changes, and helping people feel confident about their coverage. • Respond to client calls, emails, and walk-ins regarding policy questions, billing, and coverage changes

• Take and process payments, and help clients understand their billing statements
• Explain coverage options and exclusions clearly, in plain language
• Document all client interactions in our agency management system
• Take first notice of loss on claims and route them to the appropriate carrier
• Proactively identify opportunities to round out client accounts with additional coverage
• Request and track expiration dates for prospective business
• Handle day-to-day office tasks — scheduling, correspondence, and light administrative support
• Other duties as needed — in a small agency, we all pitch in where it's needed
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• A calm, patient approach to handling frustrated or difficult clients
• Sound judgment and the ability to think through problems independently
• Reliable, punctual, and enjoy helping people
• Comfortable with everyday office technology — email, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn our agency management software
• Respect for client confidentiality and sensitive information
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license (must obtain license within 90 days of hire — we'll support you through licensing)
• Prior experience in insurance, customer service, or a related client-facing role
