Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Class A CDL Driver role located in Charleston, SC. Drivers will be responsible for transporting intermodal loads and jet fuel safely and efficiently across various locations within the service areas. Daily tasks include conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and adhering to all applicable safety and traffic regulations. Drivers will also ensure proper handling, loading, and unloading of products while providing excellent service to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
- TWIC Card is a must have.
- Demonstrated experience with pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and adherence to safety regulations.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate delivery logs and following company policies.
- Strong focus on safety and compliance with transportation standards and procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of CDL driving experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in transportation safety is a plus.
