ensuring excellent customer service, high-quality food presentation, and adherence to health
and safety standards. This role includes supervisory duties and financial responsibilities such as
budget management, cost control, and revenue tracking to ensure events are executed
efficiently and profitably. This position also includes leading staff at times to execute an event.

budget management, cost control, and revenue tracking to ensure events are executed
efficiently and profitably. This position also includes leading staff at times to execute an event.
Requirements
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Catering & Event Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for all catering events in the building.Manage event timelines, menus, and logistics to ensure smooth operations. Liaising with Resident Servicesand Residents to organize, set up and execute catering requests, ensuring seamless communication withinand outside the department and high-quality service delivery. Partner with the Programs department toalign event setups, layouts, and expectations.
- Food & Beverage Coordination: Work closely with the Chef & Food and Beverage department staff to aligncatering needs with available resources.
- Operational Management: Oversee catering setup, service, and breakdown for events of varying sizes.Maintain catering supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Financial Responsibility: Monitor catering budgets and track costs to remain within established allowances.
- Leadership & Communication: Act as the lead coordinator for catering, ensuring responsibilities are clearlydefined and delegated when needed. Communicate effectively across departments to ensure events areexecuted smoothly. Provide post-event evaluations and feedback to continuously improve services.
- Resident & Community Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and guests duringevents. Respond to special requests, resolve issues quickly, and ensure a positive overall experience. Helppromote a strong sense of community through high-quality catering services.
- Month-End Inventory: Assisting in the accurate tracking, recording, and reconciliation of inventory levels.
- Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Supporting the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POS systems toensure smooth daily operations.
- Billing Requests: Coordinating and processing billing requests from residents and the Financial Departmentto ensure timely and accurate invoices.
- Dining Room Operations: Assisting with daily dining room activities as needed to support smooth serviceand customer satisfaction.
- Learning: Opportunities to learn additional duties as well as assisting in other departments as needed.
- Innovation: Pursuing opportunities to improve department processes.
