Associa is looking for an Assistant Community Manager to join our team.The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the community’s surveillance equipment: cameras, beams and video management system, the common area landscaping and all common area facilities.The individual will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all community facilities and equipment, such as, but not limited to security equipment, common area landscaping, streets and drains, lakes, gate houses, signage and perimeter walls. They are responsible for administering all preventative and on-going maintenance. They will support the Director of Community Management (DCM) with oversight of renovation projects, infrastructure upgrades and initiatives to ensure the safety of the community, its residents, guests, team members and facilities.

How You Will Make An Impact
The individual is responsible for ensuring the community is well maintained; Landscaping, Roads, Cameras, beams and all security equipment, guard houses, lake, water feature, walls and anything else that arises.
The primary duty of this position is to review and monitor the community, identify needs, and create work orders for repairs and maintenance to the common areas and equipment. Then review for completion, verify the work is to the standard required and per the terms of the contracts.
The individual is also tasked with creating RFP’s, identifying vendors and gathering bids for capitol improvement projects where needed, reviewing bids, making recommendations and managing the project and vendors once the contract is awarded.

Knowledge and Skills
- Proven project management experience, preferably in security technology, including vendor evaluation, onboarding, and oversight.
- Familiarity with security equipment, landscape maintenance standards, and building maintenance and repair requirements.
- Goal-oriented with a commitment to continuous skill development and collaborative teamwork.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, while remaining open to guidance and feedback from colleagues.
- Professional in appearance with strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Skilled in building respectful, collaborative relationships with vendors, service providers, colleagues, Club staff, homeowners, and members.
- Experience with Homeowners Associations, Private Clubs, or other customer-focused environments, with an understanding of the expectations of high-end clientele and a dedication to exceptional service.
- Minimum High School graduate or GED, AA degree preferred
- Minimum three (3) years office/clerical experience.
- 2 - 4 years of directly related or closely related experience
- Previous experience in the HOA industry or 2 - 4 years of Community Association or Club experienc
- 1 - 3 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience
- Industry Specific License preferred or willingness to obtain
Salary : $71,000 - $75,000
