Clinical
Job Duties:
- Making pre-op and post-op phone calls
- Numbing patient for surgery
- Assisting Surgeon during surgery with excisions, biopsies
- Placing patients in rooms, taking histories, going in with physicians and assisting with surgeries, cleaning rooms for the next patient, cleaning instruments.
- Consults (both phone and office)
- Entering data in EMR system quickly and accurately
- Vital Signs
- Cleaning, sterilizing appropriate packs for surgery
- Cleaning exam rooms
- Stocking rooms
- Syringes/injectables as needed
- Process tissue on cryostat or by manual methods
- Produces consistently good quality microscopic slides that can be readily reviewed and interpreted by the Mohs surgeon
- Assisting other staff as needed depending on various needs of the office/providers
- High School Graduate
- Clinical background knowledge required. Experience in Dermatology or Mohs a plus
- Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
