The Role
We're seeking a driven and creative Social Media Manager with a big personality to join our marketing team in Charleston, South Carolina. If you love the outdoors, have a knack for social media management, and can bring the ridiculously fun Waboba brand to life online, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies: Amplify brand awareness, engagement, and conversion through well-planned strategies.
- Content Creation: Capture, edit, and post engaging content tailored for each social media channel, ensuring it aligns with our brand and lifestyle.
- Social Media Management: Maintain the social media content calendar for timely and consistent posting across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Community Management: Monitor social media channels, engage with our audience, and respond to inquiries and comments promptly.
- Analytics and Reporting: Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content and campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to ensure alignment between social media efforts and overall marketing objectives.
- Influencer Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, organizations, athletes, and brands to amplify our message and reach new audiences.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably with a lifestyle brand.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends, globally.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual content creation.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly proficient in capturing photo and video content, with the ability to create compelling content tailored for each social media channel
- Excellent editing skills and proficiency in editing videos for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, using in-app editing software, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools
- Ability to swiftly adapt to and implement content trends in a creative way
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Graphic experience a plus (i.e., Photoshop, not Canva)
- Must currently live in Charleston.

- Has copywriting experience with a knack for a witty sense of humor
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
