Position Description:
This position will report to the Materials Manager. The Coordinator for the Materials Department will supervise the materials associates that are responsible for pulling parts and bringing the parts to the production lines.

Experience and education are a plus; however, it’s not required. Wabash provides training for all assembler positions. Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you’ll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.

The employee needs full range of motion in arms and hands, all Materials Coordinators must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. Some employees also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination.

- Read and follow work orders and labels
- Moving and manipulation of various materials and supplies
- Tape measure accuracy
- Communication skills – two way radio
- Read and sign for materials
- Basic math skills for inventory reporting
- Work independently
- Computer proficiency – AS400, Word, Excel
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills
