As a Science Instructor, you will meet students where they are academically, personally, and professionally—guiding them toward success through innovative and student-centered learning.
What You’ll DoThe Science Instructor facilitates engaging learning experiences while supporting the academic and personal success of adult learners. In this role, you will:
- Deliver science instruction aligned with Indiana State Standards
- Implement a student-centered learning environment that meets students where they are academically
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods including:
- Direct instruction
- One-on-one support
- Seminars and small group learning
- Self-paced instruction
- Online learning platforms
- Apply high-impact instructional practices and motivational techniques to inspire student engagement
- Develop and continuously improve science curriculum to support student success
- Collaborate with the instructional team to support student progress and program goals
- Foster a classroom culture built on grit, creativity, innovation, and encouragement
- Support students as they build confidence and achieve their educational goals
