Position: Retail Supervisor
The Retail Supervisor assists the retail leadership team in guiding and supporting store operations while helping elevate productivity, teamwork, and customer experience. This role is essential in ensuring policies, procedures, and daily operations are carried out successfully while supporting both the team and the mission of Wabash Valley Goodwill.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys motivating others to succeed.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead by example and model professionalism, positivity, and accountability
• Support, coach, and train team members
• Communicate clear expectations and provide direction throughout the workday
• Help create a drama-free, productive, and respectful workplace
• Assist with scheduling, employee guidance, and team accountability
• Welcome and support new team members to encourage retention and growth
• Handle team member concerns professionally and confidentially

Store Operations

• Help maintain the daily operations of the retail store
• Step into leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager is absent
• Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready
• Support merchandising, displays, stocking, and pricing
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash handling
• Monitor register operations and deposits for accountability
• Ensure safety, security, and policy compliance throughout the store
• Help meet sales and production goals

Customer & Donor Service

• Deliver excellent customer service to shoppers and donors
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Support the mission by creating a welcoming experience for everyone who enters the store

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team
