Oracle HCM Cloud Project Manager

Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-scale HCM transformation initiatives. This individual will oversee the full project lifecycle for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, partnering closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and implementation teams to drive successful outcomes across key functional areas.

This role is ideal for a strong project leader who brings both hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience and the polish to manage complex stakeholder environments with confidence. The right candidate will be comfortable leading large, cross-functional programs and ensuring delivery remains aligned to timeline, budget, quality, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects from planning and discovery through testing, cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and overall delivery performance.
• Drive coordination across business teams, IT, third-party partners, and system integrators to maintain alignment and execution momentum.
• Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

Stakeholder & Program Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact across business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external implementation partners.
• Facilitate project governance, status meetings, executive updates, and steering committee communications.
• Ensure project priorities remain aligned with broader business and transformation goals.

Solution Delivery Oversight

• Lead requirements gathering and validation efforts to ensure business needs are clearly defined and translated into actionable deliverables.
• Coordinate design workshops and support solution decisions aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices.
• Oversee key delivery activities related to configuration, integrations, data conversion, and cross-functional dependencies.

Testing, Cutover & Stabilization

• Plan and manage testing phases, including SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel testing as needed.
• Lead cutover planning, readiness reviews, and go-live coordination.
• Oversee hypercare support, issue resolution, stabilization efforts, and post-go-live enhancements.

Governance & Quality

• Maintain strong project controls across documentation, change management, reporting, and governance.
• Ensure project plans, risk logs, issue trackers, and decision logs are complete, current, and audit-ready.

Required Qualifications

• 5 10 years of IT project management experience, including enterprise application or cloud implementation projects.
• Proven experience leading Oracle HCM Cloud implementations across multiple modules.
• Strong understanding of HCM business processes, including Payroll, Compensation, Absence Management, Benefits, Time & Labor, and Employee/Manager Self-Service.
• Experience managing system integrators, external vendors, and cross-functional enterprise teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, Oracle Cloud certification, or equivalent project leadership credentials.
• Familiarity with related Oracle Cloud platforms such as ERP, SCM, or PPM.
• Experience in public sector, transportation, or other large enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate change effectively.
• Experience using Monday.com or similar project management tools.
