Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics Date Posted: 12/22/25 Wabash College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics to begin July 1, 2026. Candidates must be generalists with demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of a highly-competitive liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. Teaching responsibilities will include Elementary Latin, Intermediate Greek, Classical Mythology, and special topics courses that appeal to a wide range of students. Course load is 3-3. Ph.D. required by time of appointment. Salary and benefits are competitive, and include generous institutional support for professional development.
