About the role:
Waabigwan Mashkiki is seeking a passionate and reliable General Manager to join our team The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with tribal and state regulations, managing staff, and driving sales to meet business objectives. The GM will lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that Waabigwan Mashkiki remains a trusted and respected provider of cannabis products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulations
- Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer service
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee
- Responsible for providing a high level of education and development for staff pertaining to medical cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms
- Set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them
- Work closely with Inventory Specialist and Fulfillment Supervisor to procure an adequate supply of quality products
- Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
- Communicate with and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in service and labor practices within the community
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to dispensary performance, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety, security and technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Develop operations plans and implement and manage dispensary policies and procedures
- Document financial, Inventory and customer trends; maintain sales and purchasing reports
- Manage and maintain dispensary sales and inventory management software
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related experience
- Five years of experience in a retail management environment
- Excellent customer communication and service skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Passionate about serving the Minnesota cannabis community
- Strong math and computer skills
Certificates/Licenses:
- Must be twenty-one (21) years or older.
- Able to pass background check and drug screening.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- No felony drug convictions within the previous ten (10) years.
- Must fully meet the licensing requirements of the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board and be licensed to dispense medical and adult use cannabis according to the rules and regulations promulgated by the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control board, in accordance with the White Earth Medicinal and Adult Use Cannabis Code.

Pay: $75, $80,000.00 per year
