What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural / Bridge Engineer position at W3Global?
You will lead the planning, design, and reporting for transportation, site, and underground infrastructure projects.
This includes designing roadways, bridges, drainage systems, and utilities. You'll prepare detailed plans, develop geometric layouts, and ensure all work meets QA/QC standards and industry requirements.
You will also manage project schedules, budgets, and resources; prepare cost estimates; mentor junior staff; and coordinate with engineers, designers, and clients. The role requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Civil 3D or MicroStation for creating and reviewing CAD drawings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
10 years of civil engineering experience (DOT experience preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects
Preferred Qualifications
Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with drainage analysis and design
Advanced skills in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
Ability to support QA/QC and maintain project profitability
