Key Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of production for assigned jobs from start to finish.
- Deliver products on time while ensuring we're meeting client expectations and quality standards.
- Own all internal and vendor communications to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded.
- Provide consultation to Sales, Customer Service and Clients on best production practices.
- Create a great customer experience by producing and delivering world-class print products.
- Coordinate outside vendor purchases in coordination with the Outsourcing Manager.
- Ensure all materials required for the job are accurately delivered within the appropriate time frame - paper, dies, cartons, etc...
- Ensure each job is planned within the given budget while achieving quality, accurate production and on-time delivery.
- Attend internal meetings, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the group whenever possible.
- Bring timely updates to the Production Manager of changes in schedules or specifications to jobs.
- Coordinate and communicate with department managers to ensure schedule and quality requirements are met.
- Ensure all proofs, draw downs and prototypes are of the highest quality and accuracy prior to delivering to the client.
- Assist with "Customer Ok's" when clients are on-site, when needed.
- Review project costs to ensure billing accuracy.
- Minimum of 10 years of direct industry experience in a production planning role
- Excellent project skills and problem solving
- Sound judgement and knows when to escalate issues and concerns of production projects
- The ability to interact and communicate with members of the internal team
- Great communication skills and a professional attitude
- Microsoft Office skills a must
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
