Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pediatric evaluations and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions, illnesses, and injuries
- Assess and monitor growth and developmental milestones
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
- Prescribe medications, treatments, vaccinations, and therapies as appropriate
- Provide preventive care and patient/family education
- Track and administer immunizations according to recommended schedules
- Educate families on child wellness, nutrition, and preventive healthcare
- Monitor patient progress and coordinate follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support continuity of care
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Completion of Pediatrics Residency Program (minimum 3 years)
- Active State Medical License (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in pediatric medicine
- Experience in community health or outpatient pediatric settings
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Outpatient pediatric clinic setting
