About The Firm
Established in 1989, our small, established litigation law firm in South Lawrence, Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Bilingual Spanish Paralegal to join our team. Our practice is supported by two active attorneys and three paralegals, and we proudly serve a predominantly Spanish-speaking client community.
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who can communicate confidently with clients in both English and Spanish and who has hands-on experience with personal injury and workers' compensation matters.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct client interviews, case intake, and follow-up communications in English and Spanish.
Communicate professionally with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties.
Request, organize, and follow up on medical records and bills.
Assemble and maintain organized case files and documentation for insurance companies.
Assist attorneys with pleadings, legal correspondence, and case preparation.
Prepare and type legal memoranda, briefs, letters, and other documents.
Assist with case management and administrative tasks throughout the litigation process.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure deadlines and follow-up items are properly tracked.
Handle confidential client and case information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
2-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury and/or workers' compensation litigation.
Fluent Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and standard computer applications.
Experience using Dictaphone or digital dictation systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other paralegals.
