- Handle hearings, trials, and court appearances across multiple jurisdictions in North Carolina (and South Carolina, as applicable).
- Negotiate settlements and case resolutions on behalf of clients.
- Supervise and collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain an organized, business-minded approach to managing an efficient law practice.
- Travel regularly for court appearances (approximately 20%-40%).
- Minimum of one (1) year of litigation experience in private practice.
- Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
- Ability to manage a substantial caseload independently.
- Strong negotiation, advocacy, and case management skills.
- Willingness to work primarily on-site in the Raleigh-Durham-RTP area.
- Dual licensure in North Carolina and South Carolina (or willingness to obtain South Carolina licensure).
- Three (3) or more years of experience representing creditors in state court.
