Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

Overview

A growing fire protection services company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fire Extinguisher Technician to join its life safety team. This position involves performing inspections, maintenance, and testing of fire extinguishers to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and tag fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 10 standards.
• Perform recharges, hydrostatic testing, and maintenance as needed.
• Complete service documentation accurately and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with office staff and clients.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in safe, clean working condition.
• Uphold safety and customer service standards at all times.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with fire extinguisher inspection and maintenance preferred.
• California State Fire Marshal license (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
