About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Drafter to prepare detailed CAD drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation supporting fabrication and installation projects within the energy and utility construction industries.
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabrication equipment, meter runs, skid assemblies, pressure vessels, and related components.
Interpret engineering specifications, client requirements, field measurements, and technical data.
Revise drawings based on engineering changes, field conditions, and fabrication requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, shop personnel, and field teams to resolve design and fabrication issues.
Ensure drawings meet applicable industry standards, codes, and internal quality requirements.
Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Support continuous improvement of drafting standards, processes, and workflows.
Qualifications
Strong CAD/drafting experience with proficiency in industry-standard CAD software.
Ability to produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings.
Knowledge of mechanical design principles and fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, technical specifications, and industry codes/standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and revising drawings.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in oil & gas, energy, fabrication, or utility construction is highly preferred.
Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Tulsa, OK and meet project deadlines.

Candidates with experience drafting metering systems, piping, pressure vessels, skids, fabrication equipment, or oilfield/utility infrastructure will be strongly considered.

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
