- Certification within NFPA 10, 17, 17A, 25, or 72
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to conduct regular inspections and identify potential hazards
- Knowledge of safety regulations and ensuring compliance
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills
- Technical support and client training skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications or licenses in fire protection technology
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and climbing
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
