Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and employee development planning.
- Ensure staff are trained on products, systems, compliance, and digital banking solutions.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability.
- Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships through loans, deposits, cards, and digital banking services.
- Educate customers on products that support financial wellness.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote a consultative, relationship-driven service approach.
- Oversee daily branch operations, cash controls, balancing, security, and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC, privacy regulations, fraud prevention, and other applicable requirements.
- Monitor branch reports, operational trends, and risk indicators.
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies proactively.
- Drive branch performance through coaching, accountability, and execution.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Support sustainable growth through service excellence and relationship building.
- Represent the organization professionally within the local community.
- Support membership/customer outreach and financial literacy initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong community relationships.
- 5 years of banking, credit union, or financial services experience.
- 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop teams.
- Experience leading a sales and service culture while achieving measurable growth.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with financial institution core systems (Symitar preferred).
