Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead branch operations, drive member/customer satisfaction, develop high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence. This role serves as the operational and cultural leader of the branch, focusing on service, growth, compliance, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and employee development planning.
• Ensure staff are trained on products, systems, compliance, and digital banking solutions.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability.
  
  

Customer Experience & Relationship Growth

• Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships through loans, deposits, cards, and digital banking services.
• Educate customers on products that support financial wellness.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Promote a consultative, relationship-driven service approach.
  
  

Branch Operations & Compliance

• Oversee daily branch operations, cash controls, balancing, security, and audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC, privacy regulations, fraud prevention, and other applicable requirements.
• Monitor branch reports, operational trends, and risk indicators.
• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies proactively.
  
  

Performance & Business Growth

• Drive branch performance through coaching, accountability, and execution.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve business objectives.
• Support sustainable growth through service excellence and relationship building.
  
  

Community Engagement

• Represent the organization professionally within the local community.
• Support membership/customer outreach and financial literacy initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong community relationships.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of banking, credit union, or financial services experience.
• 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop teams.
• Experience leading a sales and service culture while achieving measurable growth.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with financial institution core systems (Symitar preferred).
